Edgy elegance
A cool lady this I thought. The shoes and socks and the baseball cap could have looked silly but the monochrome palette and the way she wore them (with confidence, humour and great posture) prevented this. The shorts were definitely something original in a sea of skirts, and the mac was classic and elegant without being boring. Check out her bag and manicure too.

The lovely, talented Maria Steffani:
Untrue green
This girl was friends with this girl, and together they made me think of The Wizard of Oz. It seemed to be quite a thing for people to wear complementing outfits around at LFW – a smart move for getting noticed and fun to see.
Gypsy drama
This intriguing couple actually ultimately won me over with their apparent disdain for the whole LFW scene and their over-egged arrogant stances, they were playing a part. To what end it wasn’t apparent but they seemed to be theatrical types and had a flair for the dramatic. The way they dressed reminded me of Kevin Rowland, and in my book that can only be a good thing.

Plum
This was a striking look on a modest, lovely girl. Her statement earrings are by Holly Fulton. Plum – aka Victoria Bell – has a cool (fashion, food etc) blog that’s definitely worth checking out. Find it here. She also set up and runs The Stylist’s Rail event at the Hoxton Hotel.
